Will my first Luxe box replace my Base box or ship separately from it?

For your first Luxe box, depending on when you join the Luxe Waitlist, your Luxe box will either replace your Base box OR ship in addition to your Base box. Then, every March, June, September, and December moving forward, your Base box will automatically be upgraded to Luxe, and you'll receive one amazing Luxe box that replaces your Base box. 

When subscribing to Luxe for the first time...

• In order for your first Luxe box to replace your Base box, it must be a Luxe month (March, June, September, December), and you must join or already be on the Luxe Waitlist before your Base box begins processing (which is about 24-48 hours from the time your Base box is billed). If you join the Waitlist after that time, you'll receive your first Luxe box separately from your Base box, then one Luxe box that replaces your Base box on all Luxe months moving forward.
  
  • • • How billing works: If your first Luxe box replaces your Base box, the Luxe upgrade is an additional $34.99* to your monthly BoxyCharm payment, and you will see 2 separate charges (unless you're on a prepaid Base subscription, in which case you'll only see the Luxe charge of $34.99*). Then, on all Luxe months moving forward, you'll only see one charge of $59.99* (or $34.99* if your Base box is prepaid). Billing starts on the 1st day of every March, June, September, and December. 

• If you join the Luxe Waitlist on a non-Luxe month, or join on a Luxe month after the deadline to upgrade your Base box, your first Luxe box will ship separately from your Base box. Then, on all Luxe months moving forward, you will receive one Luxe box that replaces your Base box.
  
  • • • How billing works: In this case, billing from the Luxe Waitlist takes place on select days each month while supplies last, starting on the 1st day of every March, June, September, and December, and continuing each month while supplies last until the next seasonal box. You'll receive a billing reminder email 24-hours before you're billed. The Luxe box is $59.99* in addition to the cost of your Base box. Then, on all Luxe months moving forward, your Base box will automatically be upgraded to Luxe, and you'll only see one charge of $59.99* (or $34.99* if your Base box is prepaid).

In between Luxe months, you'll continue receiving your Base box as normal for $25* or in accordance with your Base subscription plan. 

Please note: To continue elevating the membership experience and bringing our members amazing products and brands they love, the price for the Luxe box was updated on September 30, 2021. The subtotal price of the Luxe box is $59.99. Existing Luxe members will be billed the new price starting on December 1, 2021, with the Winter Luxe Box.
